Drum week ... :P

On the 25^th, Monday, English role play AGAIN… Haha… This story goes like this: I’m the one who iron my clothes and pants properly ready for an interview, when I go out to buy some drinks, my elder brother saw my pretty neat ironed clothes, then he wear it without my permission. End up, I didn’t have any ironed clothes to that interview and kena marah from the interviewer because of my untidy attire. Back home, what I will do to my elder brother? In that skit, I act as the main character and I keep on hit and scold my elder brother, which is Kam Fei…

At night, CF Combine prayer meeting at CLC. I’m the drummer for that PnW… This is my first time to serve as a drummer at CF. Well, I play it smoothly… YEAH… Thank you lord that give me the strength to do it well to serve you. Especially the “Connerstone” this full of floor tom beat… WOW… nice to play…  After prayer meeting, YamCha with a gang of PKA friends. I ordered “Susu Lembu” and “Pancake banana with Ice-cream”, END UP both TAK ade !!! GEREMnya... I replace them with syrup ice and roti kosong… HAIZ…

On the 26^th, Tuesday, busy with Kungfu night rehearsal… Don’t know why I announce something in front, they all laugh… OMG… Later on, I call someone for supper. Don’t know why we keng until so 4am… WOW… Unbelievable…  A true friend is someone who there for you when he’d rather be anywhere else. xD

On the 27^th, Wednesday, I woke up at 12pm afternoon. Xiao… This was my first time woke up so late. Finally, I plan to visit the USM pool at 5pm. The weather is very very hot … I thought the pool should be cold, mana tao I step into the pool, WAHHH… So warm … The funny thing was, suddenly, PIPI… A lifesaver call me out from the swimming pool because I didn’t wear the swimming cap. Oh no… So pai sei … HAIZ…

On the 28^th, Thursday, from 7.30am to 11.30pm never step in to my room… At night, LWCF Esther celebration. I’m the ice-breaker of the day. I play this game call “Stranger”, it seems everyone enjoy being the stranger. I’m the drummer of the day today. Spaghetti as dinner… YEAH…

Sunday, back to my church, MISS them… Later on, reach USM around 9pm. Then PnW practice for combine prayer. YEAH … I’m the drummer… Back to my room, I heard from my friend that we need to hand out an assignment. Btw, I remember I haven do the “My Map” thingy…. HAIZ… End up, on that night suddenly 2 assignments plus another 2 meeting reports need to rush … So SYIOK man! But lucky, the meeting reports my friend help me do one, I do another one. The assignment pula, start doing at 1am at Khaleel, end up at 3.30am… I slept at 4 on that night. Fuyoh… xD

Monday, I only remember I jog with Kar Mun, from PKA too. At night, first time watching movie with all my course mate in our tutorial class. The purpose is to learn how to analysis movie, this is what “visual communication” calls. J

Tuesday, at night very PEK CEK wor … I got 1 KFN rehearsal at 8, 1 class at 8, 1 meeting at 9. WOW … Really clash a lot…

At night, at first I have 3 meetings to carry on, 1 on 7.30pm KFN head meeting; 8pm Xia Xiang, 10pm PKA. Lucky they cancel 7.30pm meeting, if not I will DIE man! I’m so excited about our farewell party, I volunteer to become a MIME coordinator, and my job is to learn the steps and involve in many trainings. YEAH … Later on, next station, 洗布桥 for supper. I order 1 curry mee. Hmm… Not bad… :P

Thursday, Bless Campus are already settled keng by us. I summit to Carol during lunch time. At night during LWCF, I learn a brand new evangelism format of sharing the gospel. Just remember and always apply this 5 process: 5G – Get Connected, Get Listen, Get Lost, Get Gospel, Get Reaction…When we get connected, we must have eye-contact, smile and open a topic bu asking a simple question. "Cin Cai" + Ah Boy 2 Men 2 + Sharon's 21st Birthday Party!

Saturday, early in the morning, I join LWCF Badminton competition. First of all, we have to think about our group name. So, I ask my patner, Eunice: What you want? She reply me 随便… So, our group name is call “Cin Cai”. There are 8 teams here, all seems very strong. The first match, we fight with Nicholas Gan and his girlfriend. Don’t know why the first match we can fight until 3 duce… Our score is 24-22. We lost, but at least we manage to fight until duce level. YEAH… Continue second match with Tzi Wei and Sze Ern, we won this time, score 21-13. But, we lost to Ah Thock, the “Lee Chong Wei”, score 21-9. Too bad… But at least we can fight with the pros. At last, Ah Thock team won the whole game. Anyway, although I don’t like to play badminton much, but I more enjoy the fellowship we spend together.

We had our lunch at “Spices of Penang”… OMG! Is AWESOME nice lahhh the Mee Goreng and the ABC… I still want to eat them next time.

Sunday morning, after EPCC service, Sharon and I went to watch “Ah Boys to Men 2”. This movie was very nice, and it meaningful, teaches us to love and protect our country. Hmm…

At night, we surprise Sharon at Tea Tag Toe. That moment, Sharon was totally shock and unexpected we this branch of PKA members celebrate her birthday again. We enjoy a lot there. I still remember some lame jokes, like fish, fish ball, fisherman, fish boat bla bla bla … I saw that Tien Fei are more hyperactive and brings a lot of happiness in this celebration. He memang is a “LAME Story telling KING”. 21^st birthday is so AWESOME nice to Sharon, how about mine? I’m curios and excited the day comes. J

Wednesday, Esther planning to bring us go out from USM for breakfast. Manatao, TAK ADA orang mao … HAIZ… So, we end up at Subaidah with Andy and Esther. Lunch time, enjoy chatting with PKA senior, Tien hui. We chat about 2 hours plus… :P

Thursday, we just stared our first tutorial class for YKT102. Wow… Time flies very fast, I think I should start do revision already. Hmm… Later on, Tien Hui ajak me go “Genting” makan. WHAT? My first response: Are you kidding me? At the end, she bring us to “Genting café”.

Friday, I attend school Adwave talk, but half way “zao lo”, leave away from the talk. BORED… After PKA, we had our lunch at Bakti. Don’t know why suddenly  Tien Fei share some lame and stupid  jokes to us. That time, I just wonder, why I can’t just learn something from him lei … It’s so cool …

Don’t know suddenly why, GCB two seniors come forward me and talk a lot about me, advices me a lot of things. They ask me if whether I choose either PKA or LWCF if both CF appoint me some post. I’m so confused, what I need to choose? Suddenly, they ask me about what are my targets in university life? Owww… This I thought I know very well, I can answer it confidently. But the thing is, they told me, what is the point I’m joining so many activities and didn’t do well in each event? People may feel I’m very involved in many activities, it seems very busy, but for me, I don’t think so… I feel the more I join, the more people I know, the more experience I get, the more fun I get, the more I learn. But, reflect on it, is this God want me to do so? My mentor pastor always tell me: Adrian Lim, u should spend time to be alone, always reflect what you did, be focus and listen to God’s voice whenever from the bible or your prayer. Don’t make yourself involved in many things, try to be focus one thing and do things well. Hmm… I always can’t learn this homework. “If God give you a task to learn, he will wait you until u learn and receive something from the task,” quoted by someone. Is this the task God wants me to do?

Tuesday, SHE morning at 8am, u know la… Wakaka… So bad larhh … After English class, I just know my friend Kam Fei had just bought I-phone 5. Wow… Betul-betul kaya lei him… HAIZ… During class today, because of the lecturer keep on explaining Islamic theory, I just ignored what he teach, because is not related to our course pun. Meanwhile, I play Temple Run and 1 more games I had been never played for long time ago – snake.

At night, I had my dinner with PKA friends – Charcoal Burger. I can expect got so many people join me. These are Esther, Melanie, Eunice, Sheryn, Sherlyn, Isaac, Tien Fei, Andy and Daniel. I’m really appreciated they can really accept my invitation. Meanwhile when makan, Andy suddenly tell me, your outreach is becoming better and better than Shaun and Anthony, ur ranking suddenly become higher. WOW… I didn’t think that much, I don’t wish to compare, I just want to eat and enjoy the fellowship among us. J

After that, at the same time, 8pm, I have 2 meetings and 1 class. So? What should I choose? I choose to skipped class and attend the very important meeting. Lolx … Memang tak suka study ini, ADRIAN LIM!!! Back to my room, I keep practicing guitar. Then suddenly, don’t know why I can play well in this song, “Mengejar Hadirmu”. AWESOME nice melody … I pray that God can give me the patience to continue practicing and improve my guitar skills to serve God more efficiency.

Kahlen Birthday Party ~

Monday, I attend Kahlen birthday party at Tig Tak Toe. There, I enjoyed free drinks and free snacks. Miss Kahlen is so pretty. I’m wondering what will happen when my 21^st birthday? Who are going to help me to celebrate my birthday. Hmm… curios lah… Lastly, I supper with LWCF friends after bible study and I finally ate the Kayu’s famous roti 3 rasa. YEAH… with my dearest spiritual friend, Isaac. :P

First time playing guitar at P&W...

Saturday, I woke up early in the morning and attend PKA CG Training. There, I found out different types of words leading in CG. After training, many of my CG’s member ask me: Hey why u so quiet today. Hmm… Actually I don’t know how to answer them this question. :P At night, I attend U-care first gathering. Their topic on that day was prayer. Once again, this topic reminds me how we pray, the importance of prayer in order to build strong relationship with God. That night, don’t know why, I pick up their guitar suddenly plays “何等恩典” this song. Ehh… Why this song’s chords are so simple 1. Then, I decided to bring back to my room and practice playing guitar. YEAH … J

Sunday, I attend Chinese orchestra concert. It melody was so grand. I so admired all those informal emcees, they can perform at the stage. I wish I could perform one day. Waiting the chance … At night, YEAH, our very first PKA CG. This time, I replace Ai Choon for song leader. The excited thing is, I don’t know why I’m holding a guitar while P&W session. I wish I could try playing guitar during that moment. YES! I did it! End up, I need to practice more!!! Thanks encouragement from Debra and Derek. Most important is, Thanks Lord, give me the strength and brave to play guitar while leading songs. Lastly of the day, I enjoyed supper with Debra, and we share a lot of our universities life stories. I wish I could  supper with different kind of people everyday and listen more university life stories.

On the 4^th March, it is Monday. After my English class, I went to IK, the cheapest food in USM. I ate fried fish, fish fillet, hot dog, fried egg, plus vegetables, it all cost RM3.40. So cheap man!!! Next, continue our class, YKT106, English media writing. There, I finally do my very first quiz and it’s easy like ABC. :P At night, I attended Xia Xiang meetingsSS… Lastly, spend time with Grace, this lepak kaki and lepak for a while at Tekun Foyer.

On the 5^th March, SHE at morning again, too bad, I skipped again. After my abnormal psychology class, I suddenly feel want to play basketball. So, I decided went to Bakti there and have my very first basketball time. YEAH… I played from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Syiok… Lastly, end up study SHE library with my new study patner, Ember Wong. I can’t believe that I can ready 20 pages of SHE notes. Lolx…

On the 6^th March, my favorite day, because I have only one class at 3pm. YEAH. At night, finally it comes to an end of the 39^th Pesta Hoki, our annual dinner. I thought 7.30pm start, manatao, 9pm only baru makan… HAIZ… But, I won a small hamper for lucky draw, and my lucky number was 1202.

YEAH... I share these with my Emcee Team friends. :)

On the 7^th March, early in the morning, don’t know why I couldn’t wake up, I miss the class. SYHT… HABIS… This is core course plus got take attendance. Lunch time, my friend Grace har… She really like a princess… Tak Boleh Tahan… She needs me to bring her to IK café as she don’t know where it is. HAIZ… Maybe I should learn how to be more patient.

YEAH! Dinner with this Charcoal burger. SEDAP…

At night, at LWCF, this is my first time doing P&W. Ohh… I’m abit nervous because I never lead songs by using English. For me, it is very good experience. Later on, I did a very funny skit there. I’m the Sillat master who call my students to attack me with their skills. Walaowei … Very stupid moves… Next, I leave earlier and wrote my attendance in that stupid WUS. Lastly, end up with Kungfu Night rehearsal. Owww… One of my friend says: U haven go back home? So GILA want? =.=!!!

On the 8^th March, our first PKA BE starts… YEAH! There, I meet some new faces again. Around 6 something, I call my mom, ask her about our business. She replies me, it is too good, so awesome, and finish at 12pm plus plus. I’m so glad our business will suddenly become good, I need to thanks to The Star.

GG.Com Camp !!!

This is the story of my PKA GG Family camp in Stella Maris from 1^st March to 3^rd March.

Around 4.30pm, everyone needs to gather at RST guard house. Around 4.50pm, the bus arrived and picked us up, then we started our bus journey to Tanjung Bunga. 5.20pm, we reached there, Stella Maris, a tall building with a huge area too.

Dinner time, the food looks awesome. I ate 2 drumsticks, but I saw Derek Ooi ate more than 2, maybe 3-5? After dinner, we started our first section is “high” praise and worship. Cool man, we sang a lot of songs, we used our voices, shouted to the Lord. Before we start our “word”, we reflect what we did in the past semester, how I overcome my difficulties, what I like to thank God for. After this, our group gather together and discuss about our Cheers. I’m glad I’m in “Chevy” group, and our cheers is so simple, we just say “ARE YOU READY, “CHENVY!” YES… Around 11pm, everyone is “forced” to go back to our room to rest. But, I know that I sure won’t sleep so early. I went in to Derek’s room and pillow chat with them, which are Derek, Daniel Lim and Daniel Teoh. The Daniel Teoh is funny and shared a lot of stories to us. His mind are matured enough, maybe because he studying law. I still remember 1 phrase he had mention to us, we all laugh until wants to DIE, especially Derek. This phrase are:

“Older man is just like Vine, older woman is just like milk.” Vine will last long, while milk doesn’t.

The next morning, we have to wake up early at 6.30pm, we started our first activity is call “prayer station”. There a total 5 stations, “prayer for CF; prayer for family members; prayer for thanksgiving; prayer for myself and prayer for others” respectively. I experience a very nice moment with God on that moment, I feel God wants me to do something through him. Next, we do morning devotion together in group. Around 8.30am, we have our Roti Canai as breakfast. At first, I thought I only can eat 1 piece of Roti Canai, manatao… I ate 3… After breakfast, I tried to play this instrument that I wish to play long time ago – Cajon.

YEAH! It’s AWESOME fun! I wish I could play this during P&W session.

Next, our first “word” session by Mr.Goh – Christian life-Living it out. I can’t expect that this Mr.Goh, our beloved invited speaker is already a 66 years old old man. Wow, INCREDIBLE, FANTASTIC, AWESOME, an old man still doing youth ministry. I feel bless by him, because I saw his energetic, the passion of serving the youths. The first word that he touched me is, “your quite time should not be awake by alarm.” It means I have must the initiative to seek God, to be quite alone for some time. Not by the external conditions that make me remember to seek God, I must trained to be more disciplines to build relationship with God through his word. In order to release the light of Christ, we need to be good student of God’s word. If not, don’t talk about worship, don’t talk about serving, don’t talk about sharing the Gospel. 

Session 2 of word – Christian as a community. As a Christian, we need to know how to care our friends around us. We live as a community, we need to love each and other, just like what did the Bible says so.  During the sharing session, I share my first impression in PKA. It is so comfortable to stay at PKA to learn God’s word, build relationship among us, and share love to public, especially “Bless Campus”. It is an awesome experience that I learn a lot there, and share God’s love there.

Around 2.30pm, everyone were excited with the games session. LOLX… I still remember got 1 games conducted by Tze Shaun, the cans and the spaghetti. That time, my partner, Rowena and I need to use a spaghetti stick to carry up a can, and then walk for a certain distance. In order to let me focus, avoid laugh, so I closed my eyes. MANATAO, Tze Shaun still laughed at me, because my weird and stupid action are annoying, and the funny thing is I walked to the wrong direction. After games, we enjoy playing captain ball. YEAH…

Don’t know why, camp comes to an end, the dinner is always the best meal. Delicious…

The first time I’m the backup singer for the P&W, thanks to Debra inviting me.

Session 3 of word – Deal with it, enjoy Jesus Christ. Here, I can see his passion towards Jesus Christ, his life experience God and keep telling us how he encounter God. So, I must learn from him, always have passion in Jesus Christ, love him just like u love you lovers. J

After that, I spend a little time to write some encouragement words to my fellow PKA members. It seems I wrote a lot and thanks them for being part of my university life. During the late night, we spend time together chatting, playing card games, and most memorable is to do MUS together. MUS stand for “moral uplifting society”. Here we share positive things to each and other. When it’s me, I received a lot of people say I’m an outgoing, involved, fun, easy going people. Hmm… Looks like I’m the person who can easily interact with each and other, is a good follow-uper. Thanks to them. J

The next day, early in the morning, I woke up for the prayer meeting, after that, I went back to sleep and I skipped the morning devotion. Opps… During P&W, Benedict is a very good song leader, he lead us dance some simple moves, very easy and interesting. I enjoyed a lot, I hope one day I will be on the stage, lead them dancing to praise lord. Later on, our last word from Mr.Goh – Being salmon. Here, he reminds me the importance of being a salmon, to share the Gospel.

Times flies very fast, we took a lot of group pictures and someone just said that our T-shirt looks like Football team when we took the group pictures. AWESOME…

First year student ~ YEAH ...

In sum, I experience a lot and know a lot of new friends there. I also learn a simple thanksgiving prayer for food, thanks to Nicolas. The prayer is:

“Whatever u call, I follow, whatever u eat I swallow, whatever u meet I fellow, in Jesus name, Amen.”

Enjoyed la… The most important thing is, this camp help me to reflect myself in the past semester, and start our journey again with God all the time during my this new semester. I miss CAMP so much … J

Experience Buddha Club ~

Wow… Is already 1^st of March, times flies so fast. Early in the morning, I woke up at 8am and join morning devotion with pastor Looi. Next station, I attend PBB, which are Buddha club event. My friend, Ember invited me. As a Christian, I know that joining others religion’s activities are not so suitable. But, I would like to have a look Buddha club activities and to explore more different religions. So before I went there, I pray that God will give me the wisdom and faith not to step into this temptation. Well, there I saw they got ice-breaking, sketch performance, dancing, and 1 more part is call “sharing of Merits”. On that moment, I really don’t know what to do, because everyone needs to close their eyes and listen to that sharing. Owww... I pray inside of my heart for the wisdom in this situation. So, that time I just close my eyes and pray inside my heart.

Anyway, is almost 4pm. I’m ready for CNY event. But more SYIOK is, let’s GG.com! Wohoo…

I know I still CAN !

On the 25^th February, we start our first class English, LSP300. There, I KENA HALAO keluar by my English teacher, because they say full slots, she need to kick some students out of the class. HAIZ… But, at last got friends want exchange with me. I’m lucky. My dinner that night was McD Egg and Beef burger. WOW, taste good man, cause it’s cheap!

Later on, I went to combine prayer at CLC. There, I learn a new song call “Doa untuk Malaysia”, we sang this song to encourage us to always pray for Malaysia. J

On the 26^th February, I miss SHE class again, the second time. I can’t wake up early in the morning, I’m not use to it. HAIZ … Later, I attend the abnormal psychology class, it’s quite boring, and I don’t think so his jokes are funny, I don’t know why the Malays keep on laughing. At night, I went to “考察团” meeting, they say they plan to visit Melaka wor, but since Ember not going, then I also don’t plan to join them. Last station, I join Xia Xiang event, is just a normal AJK event, none of my business because I don’t plan to take part in it. :P

On the 27^th February, it’s Wednesday. I like Wednesday so much is because this day I only have 1 class, which are Visual Communication. SYIOK man! At night, I have a nice and enjoyable dinner with my PKA senior, Adeline Wee. Next station, PKA short meeting with all first year students. Later on, I need to rush to BT150 for my Xia Xiang 18^th team. That night was a AJK event, there I volunteer myself to some post I wanted, BUT… I can’t get any post for this team. I post this on my FB status: “我的心情很复杂，但我深信我还可以！” Although I never get any post there, but I know I still can TAHAN. I can't get my post because I don’t have many friends support me there. I used to be a very strong confidence guy that will get a nice post for organization, BUT lastly… HAIZ… Never mind… I trust I still have another second chance to let people acknowledge me. Meanwhile at the same time, many of my seniors come forward and care me, I was so touched. They told me, “don’t give up, we know your abilities, maybe is still not the timing, when the times come, you will get wad u wan, you still got many chance can learn. I strongly believe that. Today I will continue stay at Xia Xiang because of 1 senior cares me first, this person is call Bearyn. I’m glad because she gives me a lot of motivations. J

On the 28^th February, I need to go morning class again, HAIZ … Thanks to my roommate, Zan Kai, he wakes me up today. I have a nice brunch with Debra after class, we chat a lot of stories in USM. At night, it was my first time went to LWCF CG! There, I learn what is God’s will about. This is the small key chain I got today. WARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR … (Everyone WARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR at the same time when they say this is homemade by Grace.)
