2 Open House + Survival Kidz ...

On the 8^th of September, Monday, the first day of my 5^th sem. I had a class from 9am, this is an elective course called “skrip dan lakonan”. I can’t believe we play games and acting during lectures class, I wish more exciting moment will be coming soon. At night, xia xiang meeting at DUP to kick off our engine.

On the 9^th of September, Tuesday, what a wonderful day, I have no lecture class at all … I accompany Teren to QB to register the TMnet. At night, bro Hong Guan’s open house for Sawarak mission trip gang to have steamboat gathering. Unfortunately, Olivia involves an accident, and our sharing part tak jadi. Lucky, that is just a minor one.

On the 10^th of September, Wednesday, another packed schedule.  During this Penulisan Promosi class, Pn Hazlina put the tutorial slots right after the class, it clash my Japanese class. HAIZ … I had no choice I have to drop Japanese and add on new subject, so I decided to take LHP456: Spoken English. During lunch time, I meet a brunch of pharmacy juniors, Grace Tan friends. I’m glad that every one of them bought survival kids tickets from me. At night, now my turn open house. I cooked famous beef noodles to treat my fellow CF members. Everyone says SEDAP!

On the 11^th of September, Thursday, the day I meet a new friend call Avirny Chew, a friend of Xin Yi. During evening 5.30pm, PKA have a Kick Off event, pre-section for members to come together to see the big pictures of our future activities in this coming semester. Around 6.45pm, it’s time to leave to the next event, Survival Kids. Thank God, all of the Pharmacy gang reached here on time and we really had a great interaction with them. During the whole event, I feel this time God put more and more people in this event, is about 30+. PTL! We also invited a lot of helpers from PKA to assist us in our sharing part. To sum it up, everything goes very smoothly, quite a successful event. YEAH …

On the 12^th of September, Friday, kick start our morning prayer, is was quite successful too as it attracted 12 of us, got one is new member Avirny. We will like to make this as our habit to pray to him. Finally, this semester Friday no lecture, but just only one tutorial. At night, Pasar Malam trip with CF members, I meet some new friends there, especially my juniors like Sherinah and Susu …

My ENRICH holidays before SEM 5 starts ...

Wow … I had been months haven’t update my blog stories, now is the time for me continue to share my universities stories. And, finally, time flies, I’m already a third year student in USM. (I had been writing blog for 2 years too) HEHE … Before continue my journey in USM, let me just briefly mention my life during the long break holidays.

If you give me a term to describe my holidays, I would like to say: TOUR GUIDE…  I had been serving my friends for six rounds, it means got 6 groups of people coming over to KL for travelling purpose. First is Darren Koay (a perasan but handsome guy from Alor Setar); continued by Grace Quah and Debra (friends from PKA); Ember (my best ipoh friend in USM) and Lemon (course mate); Yan Wen, Fish and Yee Shun (my junior from music school); Kioko, Alex and Weixin (from ipoh too); lastly is my overseas friends Ran Cheng (my ex roommate from China) and Yin Bai (my Taiwan friend I meet during ILT). I bring them visit a lot of place in KL, eat a lot of stuff especially my mom’s beef noodles, and last but not least to Setia Walk. OMG … Anyway, although is tired, but I seriously enjoy hanging out with difference friends.

Besides that, travelling is also being part of my holidays, I used my time wisely to go back Kelantan see my grandma, went up Genting for the first try of CASINO, went Ipoh to find my Ipoh friends (6 gangs too, everyday different people), lastly went to Kuching, Sarawak for mission trip. I felt my holidays are so enrich and fun …

18^th August to 2^nd September is my mission trip to Sarawak, 3^rd September midnight go back to Penang because 4^th-6^th September LWCF retreat in Gopeng, Ipoh. It’s was another wonderful fellowship and bonding together with brother and sisters in Christ in this small CF. Besides normal retreat stuff, we also went for hiking at Gua Tempurung. It’s so extreme and exciting … Surprisingly what a coincidence I meet xiao yang and da yang from SP church, they also hiking with us same time as us… Thank God, God really send some guys to assist our sister who really needs help. In sum, we had a wonderful retreat again.

The moment I go reached Penang, I need to start tidy my new house – U-hights. It’s such a privilege I can stay outside instead of Tekun because I can cook here and really feel like going back HOME … Anyway, going to start my new semester soon … Stay tuned for my upcoming updates in USM …

During my 3 weeks exam week, I’m so glad to enjoy a lot in this stress period.

First of all, SANUK walkabout tour event brought me a new experiences and exposure in Penang island again. Thanks to Joice helps me register in this event, and placed me in a great team, there are basketball state player (Mun Mun), PHD student (Ah Seng) and one of my course junior (Tiow Siew Mei). This is something similar with MYFC Tour, we need to walk around and find answers and fill in the blank. Our locations in this tour have Queensbay Mall, in the Rapid bus, First Avenue, Penang heritage area, and Fort Cornwallis. We thought we could win the prizes, but we found out we did quite a number of mistakes, so the winner goes to some aunty uncle there. Anyway, a wonderful experience, most importantly what we received is all FREE …

On 16 June, Monday, Pastor Hong Yuan invited the “Sarawak Mission Trip Gang” to his home for dinner. He cooked spaghetti for us, and treat us Durian, well, same goes to us, we treat them Ice-cream and watermelon. Their kids like our ice-cream so much. After dinner, pastor shared with us regarding bout this mission trip, he also brief us what to prepare and also call us not to be afraid. Lastly, we prayed together because without prayer, our mission trip is just a “trip”, is not “God’s trip”. I’m so excited to go there soon … It’s another great opportunity to experience different culture and their society.

During exam period, I do enjoy my study at different locations such as Starbucks, Khaleel and of cause library … I always burn mid night oil at Khaleel with Burger Daging.

During the last week, after my Etika dan Undang-undang paper, I jio-ed William for dinner and we go for a movie at QB – How to train your dragon 2. Shopping mall rule that I set: Selfie first when you know you are not going to buy it. So I choose this suit! YEAH …

Finally it 27^th of June, my last paper is here … This is the only paper I used English to answer all the questions. Everyone were so excited once we finished our paper because that period all papers come to their end. The very first time kia kia with my course mates. Although we are not so close, but we have the same motive – watch Transformers 4. Before we sit for our last paper, I saw a lot people check in cinema watch this movie, CEMBURUnya … So that’s why we straight away go QB once we finished our last paper.

The next morning on the 28^th June, Saturday, is the last day I stay at Tekun. I’m sure I will miss this place so much, every single corner brings me a lot of memories.

First Exam Week: Starbucks + Duck Egg Char Kuey Tiao

During 8^th to 13^th of June, the first week of exam period, I have no paper at all. So, I spend most of my time at room study, but actually I played and watched drama more than I study. I’m chasing “On Call 36 hour 2” … Meanwhile I went some exciting places like QB and Bukit Mertajam.

Why I go QB? This is because I want to change my study environment to a better place. I saw my Starbucks member card still left some credits there, so I decided to go for a drink. Starbucks new flavor: Strawberry Cheesecake Frappuccino, it was the best Frappuccino I drank ever. Later on, watch “The Big Lion” at GSC and have my dinner at KFC … It’s a good experience to me to study outside, I managed to study 6 chapters … Not bad …

On 12^th of June, I randomly open the a game folder that I failed to launch it last time, guess what this time. It’s works now! Finally I can play my favorite PS1 game, CTR … Miss it so much … The moment I post this picture at FB, many people ask me for the game folder. HAHA ….

On the 13^th of June, I’m so desire and hunger to eat duck egg char kuey tiao at BM. So, I call Teren whether he is free that he can fetch me there. Who knows, he say JOM. So, we 4 of us, Isaac, Olivia, Teren and me went all the way 45 minutes plus the heavy traffic jam to BM. Once we reached there, we just saw the uncle just start their business, can’t expect we are the first customers. So, this it, the famous fried duck egg char kuey tiao … Taste MA MA DEI nia, the duck egg is nice only … TT Anyway, still experience it already …

LWCF Appreciation Night @ Natural Leisure

On the 7^th of June night, we celebrated LWCF appreciation night at Natural Leisure. I’m so excited and I dressed so smart, before I go out, let me take a selfie, OMG !!! Perasanness of me …

We reached there early around 4.45pm and we started to set up, arrange the tables and a simple deco. Around 5.45pm, I asked the pic there, Mr.Alex whether the food is ready, he answered me: haven’t cook. OMG!!! JIA LARK, I forget to tell him the exact time the food had to be serve, the initial plan is we eat around 6.15pm, but he expected we eat around 7pm. GG.com, it’s my fault, I forget to inform him, but he still manage to prepare the food around 6.40pm. Thank God. So, the event started at 6pm sharp with Andrew’s and Prof Teoh’s speech, followed by some simple ice-breaking as the food delayed so we also bring forward the ice-breaking section. They played “007” and “the toilet bowl” game, seems everyone quite excited during that “toilet bowl” game because many of them kena toilet bowl. After the games, we show them our LWCF events recall video done by Irene. Later on, we perform a simple mime to them, is call the “precious moment”, as we all spend time together, play together, fellowship together, learn and grow together is the precious moment that we have. After that, food time! AWESOME food as we got fried rice, spaghetti, chicken chop slices, sweet and sour fried fish, dong fen, vegetables, potatoes, fruits, homemade tau fu fah, drinks and the most syiok is “lobsters” !!! WAKAKA … Very delicious …

After dinner, we enjoy a video done by me, is a video which recorded what juniors wish to say to all graduating seniors. It’s a touching video, Yenn Mei and Chee Ohn both of them agree what we say when we mention their characteristics. Later on, I lead them a moment of sharing. In this moment, seniors share their feelings and what they need to thank God in this CF. Andrew share too, he talk the most. After that, we had a little price ceremony moment, we gave away our gift and T-shirt to all graduating seniors, campus team, and brother Eng Seong. Later on, FREE time for SING K and photograph section. Everyone busying taking photos with each and other, me too … Jai Voon are busying choosing songs to sing … HAHA …

Around 9.30pm, we had another video done by Olivia, this is a song call “1234 I love you” by Plain T. We captured down ourselves with words and record a video of “I love you”. What a touching video! Once the video play finished, we bring a cake in, and Ah Thock supposed to play a happy birthday song, but end up he play a weird version of happy birthday that no one know how to sing it. So, everyone are quite BLUR that time, suddenly someone say sing without music larh! So, we sang happy birthday song to our beloved Yen Mei as three days more is her birthday. At first, she also don’t know what’s going on, she thought got someone birthday on that day, she are quite shocked and surprised at that moment we sang birthday song to her. She was so touched!

Our program followed by lucky draw, and we wrap up everything around 10.15pm. We are so blessed we met a nice person who allowed us to exceed the time period of using their hall. Everyone praised and said the food was nice, environment was beautiful, and even their service was excellent too. RM48, WORTH !!! Everyone enjoyed a lot here, we had a wonderful night, I will miss this forever …

During study week I meet her ...

During my study week, what I did? Of coz, the first thing once I reach home is go out again. Camp time LARH … This time my serving in student ministry held in MonQ resort from Senawang. This is the first time 4 secondary schools combined together, so it will be an unforgettable experience. In this camp, I’m a group teacher again and this time most of my role is being a video-cameraman. I’m so glad to know a lot of students there. From the starting until the end, a lot of students cried there, because of some issues happened, told by my pastor.

After camp, whole day at home, until the chance I meet with my long old friend who I haven’t met her before since after form 6, Angela. She moves out, that’s why she got the chance to come out yam cha with me. I bring her to “In House” café to have a drink. There, I listed a lot of stories about her family problems. In my heart, I always wish to pray for her.

Oh yeah … How can I forget about her, the person I wanted to meet for long time ago, my sweetie, Erica Wan. HAHA … She is a sweet, 38, and hyperactive girl who always call me “cutie” in FB, I also don’t know why. I felt blessed to have a such lovely friend, she are so sweet and cute for me. Finally, we managed to meet at KL, and I brought her to SS2 and Cheras Pasar Malam. We enjoy a lot of great food there … I’m so happy that night …

I came back to Penang with Lian Chih at 6^th of June … Then my whole study week is kept on Facebook, Dota and watch drama … No mood for me to study pun … HAHA … 

Final Week in my 4th sem: Meeting + Xia Xiang Ye + Rushing Work ...

On the 23^rd night till 24^th morning, we LCFW have our leaders retreat at camp. We were doing post mortem for the past events and planning for the next semester’s events. From 8pm till 1am … Meanwhile, we sang song praise the Lord that he had done great things in our CF, we also pray that God will guide us in our CF and our daily life. The next morning, me and Isaac lead one group respectively. We discuss a topic about “dream”, everyone had a dream, even God also have a dream for us, wish he would like us to be like Him, walk with him and shine Jesus Christ. After on, we attend combine prayer meeting at Padang Kawad, looks like the very first time LWCF members are more than PKA members, while other both CF’s none of their members appear on that morning, perhaps everyone are too busy rushing with their final assignments and test. Anyway, it’s a great time spending together sharing our feelings towards this semester. I wrote in that paper my God is good-timing God, he provides the best time for me to do well in all my assignments, because all my assignments had postponed. HEHE … So blessed.

On the 25^th of May, Sunday, it’s a night we celebrate xia xiang ye. I’m so lucky I can in this family although I’m not so actively talk a lot there, there I looks so quiet, looks like hard to interact with me, but anyway, I also need to thanks old senior, Bearyn one motivational word: “you are so talented in acting, I’m so surprise, hope u can enjoy ur time in xia xiang.” Next one is Ah Lun, he is a very funny person, he seems like my Ah pa, knows how to care people, very helpful and a lot of ideas, I like the way he talk during activities, very spontaneously. The next senior I want to thank you is Elwic Lim, his games ideas was fantastic awesome, learn a lot of games technique from him, brilliant one … He also was our “lao dao” de Ah pa, he gave a lot of comments and advices so that we can do better in our activities. 

Lastly, I also won’t forget my 18^th Tuan, YEAH …

Oh yeah, btw, on that same day, I watch LCW first match badminton before I go that event. No need say, LCW sure win larhhh … After that event finished, I still managed to watch the final. BUT, Malaysia LOST! OHHH NOOO …  

In these three days from 26^th to 28^th of May, I need to rush 2 big projects, 1 assignments and also 1 presentation. Seriously, JIA LARK … But anyway, I’m still able to finish it on time. YEAH … It’s time to go back home on the 28^th night, because the next day, student camp again. Excited man !
