The day before event, 5th December, after PR class, I
straight away went to DKU for help. Once I reached there, Tiam Fei told me we
need to do a REAL full rehearsal including my games too. OMG! I haven’t prepared
anything yet, so I quickly blow up a balloon and prepared a few pieces of
papers for my “Find Some One” games. When my turn, I thought I will lead alone,
thank God my partner Yoong Wei came back on time. So, both of us conduct a
short rehearsal about our games. Later on, I have to practice my dance
performance while Yoong Wei also busying with his keyboard performance during
the P&W section. When times come to 11pm, everyone started to packed up
their things and is time to leave DKU as we booked that hall until 10pm only.
We end up at Khaleel to have our supper. I ordered a Tomyam Bihun Goreng, taste
SPICY! But, I like it. One funny incident is, I plan to ordered another Roti
Tissue but the worker told me HABIS. Suddenly, “NAH NAH…” the worker pass me a
tall Roti Tissue. WOW… I thought we can taste this tasty food, manatau I’m so
blessed to have it. I felt satisfied. J

On that day 6th December, Dr.Adrian came to our class, he
told us he is very disappointing because yesterday almost 80% of the us never
attend his lecture meanwhile Dean pass by the class. GG.com! HABIS… Dr.Adrian
told us those who never attend his class must write a formal letter passed to
his office before 1pm. Everyone are so nervous, quickly call friends and quickly
wrote the letter. I passed it to Keng Leong but later on he called me to passed
that letter by our own. Once I reached Com school, I entered Dr.Adrian’s room.
I saw Dr.Mayiddin are there too. “Adrian Lim, kenapa tak datang kelas!” Scared
dao me. I explained I can’t manage to wake up on time. Then Dr.Adrian waved his
hand and “halao” me away.
Around 1pm, I reached there. The first thing I need to do is helping
them to carry and arrange the chairs
inside DKU. Yoong Wei already print out
the materials for the games, the next thing is I need to cut it out and put
inside to the souvenir. I really appreciated some of the PKA members we helped
each other to put the materials inside all the souvenirs. Later on, we
practice, practice and practice; rehearsal, rehearsal and rehearsal until 5pm.
Thanks again to Tiam Fei who send me back to Tekun and send me to DKU at 6pm. We
had a last preparation and Elaine conducted a prayer meeting at 6.45pm.
Everyone hold their hands together and pray loudly for this event. We knew that
this event is not PKA’s event, is always the God’s event. We surrender
everything to God and we believe everything will run smoothly in God’s plan.
After the prayer, we saw some guest had already arrived, ushers are now busying
queuing up them for registration. 7pm starts registration section, 6.50pm
already got people standby outside there. I saw a lot of juniors join our
event. During 7pm to 8pm is the arrival of the guests, I keep walk around and
take photos with many people.

8pm, this event starts with Shaun and Kelly emcee opening speech ceremony. They welcome everyone tonight in this place, and shouted the school name to make some crowd noises. Next, they pass the time to Ice-breaking section, which are Yoong Wei and me will lead this ice-breaking section. Well, overall, I felt a bit disappointed and not so professional. Because we can’t really interact with the audience as we knew that the purpose of doing this ice-breaking games is to break the ice between them. Well, we took this as a very good and new experience for such huge number of audience, because everyone is under learning process.

Guest are invited out to play games with us ...
Later on, Benedict and the worship team lead us to sing some easy Christian Christmas song. I remember I’m the one who run to the middle of the stage and dance there. Later on, dance performance and follow up by drama performance. Glory to God, we did very well. YEAH …

Next is Pastor Palan’s
sermon. He talked about everyone are sinner, J (Jesus) is the only Saviour. The
right message of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, not the
Santa Claus. He shared this good news to them and had an alter call after his
sermon. We noticed that got someone raises up their hands, praise the Lord. After
the sermon, we sing Feliz Navidad and Merry Christmas again to close this
event. Around 10pm, this event officially ended in time.

During the refreshment
that time, a girl suddenly said Hi to me, and I can’t recognize her. (OMG! This
is my weakness in USM, can’t recognize people) Then she said: HAR, you
forgotten me already, I’m Sok Yeng harrr… Now I only know she is my form 6
school mates. GG.com! She change a lot until I also can’t recognize her. We are
so excited to chat with each other, although during form 6 we seldom chat, but
don’t know why came here cakap non-stop. Thanks to her from en camp to support
our main campus Christmas celebration event. We had supper together after
everything had settle down. YEAH …
